那么，作为家长在这段时间里我们应该做一些什么呢?
1、加强对孩子有关吃苦耐劳精神的教育。最后这一段时间，由于学习任务的增加，孩子肯定会觉得比平时更辛苦。但是从人的一生来看这种辛苦，是孩子的一笔最好的精神财富。我们家长要经常对孩子进行这方面的教育。特别是在孩子有怨言的时候要及时进行心理疏导，为他们讲道理，使他们懂得，不努力、不吃苦就不会有大的收获。同时对他们通过努力、勤奋得到的进步要表扬、鼓励。使他们苦中有乐、苦中有希望。
2、加强对孩子们的身体健康方面关心。学习任务的加重，孩子的体力消耗变大，适时增加平时的用餐营养。白天变长，可以给孩子准备一点干粮，让他们在学校可以充饥。在睡觉、穿衣等一些细节上要更加重视，以防孩子生病。要知道，现在一感冒就会落下课。由于时间紧，节奏变快，一旦落下，就很难有时间补上。另外，在休息方面也要加以监督。不要让孩子的睡眠不足，到一定的时间提醒孩子休息，控制好电视的收看，电脑的使用时间。(这一点要突出讲一下，有时家长一直被蒙在鼓里)(相反：在用钱上要加以严格控制;区别零食与干粮，对孩子吃零食的现象要制止)
3、加强对孩子的课外时间管理。平时看到孩子晚回家，一定要问清原因，有必要打电话与老师联系。千万不能留下管理上的空白。因为现在压力变大，有的人会自我逃避，去网吧、商店，去放松一下，有时应该叫放纵一下。这样就很容易出问题。另外一旦发现该到家时没有回家要及时与老师联系。查明原因，进行相关的教育。在星期六或星期天的休息时间，也要对孩子的活动有一个全面的了解掌握。现在有一个不好的现象，就是一到星期天，学生的作业质量就特别的差。一个星期辛辛苦苦养成一点好的习惯，一下子全放汤了。可以看出星期天，孩子在家缺少管理，把学习放到了一边去了。
4、加强安全意识。因为学习到了紧张的关键时刻。有些学生因为不够自觉有时要留校补课，在此我辛苦我们的家长朋友来学校去接一下，以保障路上的安全。如果有特殊的原因，不希望教师留他补课的可以提前与老师联络。
5、用实际行动关心、帮助孩子的学习。
